A site dedicated to the actor Sam Trammell
Sam Trammell attended the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center 26th Anniversary of the Sports Spectacular at Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on May 22, 2011 in Los Angeles, California. On Sunday, close to 2000 prominent sports figures, entertainers, and business people were on hand at the event in Los Angeles.
Sports Spectacular has raised millions of dollars for the hospital.

Lucky me!! I was fortunate enough to get to see Sam and spend some quality time with him, air travel finally NOT necessary, at the Chicago Comic Con this Saturday.
After a two hour trip and an extensive search through the very crowded display area, I found him at the autograph booths with Kristin Bauer and Brit Morgan.
I immediately starting taking pix…got scolded by security till I flashed my Press Badge and Sam came to my rescue…my hero!
We chatted for about an hour…mainly about the new site we’re creating and basically everything but the show…sorry…no secrets to share! : (
Sam did say he loved getting up close and personal with the fans at these events! No complaints from the poor guy who valiantly signed autographs from 10AM to 7PM for three days straight!

Deborah Ann Woll, Rutina Wesley and Sam Trammell signed the “True Blood Volume 1 – All Together Now” comic book compilation at Barnes & Noble in Los Angeles this afternoon. (Not sure what happened to Nelsan???)
The True Blood comic series has become IDW Publishing’s best-selling title. Now, all six issues from the first series will be available together in a deluxe, hardcover compilation entitled “All Together Now.” In bookstores nationwide February 15, 2011.

A Pretty Filthy Evening, subtitled “Real Stories (and Songs) from the Folks Who Make Adult Entertainment,” was presented on Feb. 5 at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Los Angeles.
The starry event featured the talents of Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley, Mia Barron, Chris Butler, Kathryn Hahn and many more.
A Pretty Filthy Evening, according to press notes, “is a fun night of music and monologues created in conjunction with The Civilians’ new project, commissioned by CTG, about the adult entertainment industry. The cabaret will also feature porn charades and prizes.”
The award-winning New York-based theater company is known for investigating real life topics: For this current project, The Civilians have spent more than a year in Las Vegas and the San Fernando Valley gathering stories from directors, performers, agents and producers about the dirty movie business.
This research will eventually become The Civilians’ new musical Pretty Filthy, directed by Steve Cosson, with book by Bess Wohl and music and lyrics by Michael Friedman (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson).
