What’s in Store for Sam?

The season two finale for True Blood is long past for the United States and filming for it ended long before that, so you may be wondering what Sam Trammell has been up to in the mean time. He has not been taking life easy.

During an interview on the late night show “Chelsea Handler” Trammell mentioned three of his upcoming projects.

Shrinking Charlotte
This film is due out in January of 2010 and is a “romantic comedy about three single men who stalk and date a woman in therapy in order to learn about honesty, fate, and eventually love,” according to IMBD. Sam plays Jeff, a shrink who repeatedly rescues his hypochondriac mother from “going to the light.” His dating life revolves around finding the right woman, who unfortunately may be just like his dear old mom.

The Details
This is a dark comedy dealing with modern day relationships starring Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks and Laura Linney.  This independently produced film, written and directly by Mean Street’s Jacob Estes, is due out in 2010. No word as to Trammell’s role. It has been filming in and around the Seattle, Washington area.

Unshakable
According to IMDB: “In a huge mansion on a remote island, nine people brought together under the pretense of “information exchange” soon transforms into a harrowing battle for survival, as members of the group are being slowly killed off by an ancient shape-shifting demon.” Sam’s role is Kane, a bodyguard who escorts clients to the meeting. The current release date for this in production project is August 2, 2010.
